What is Wardith?
A small business with one job: making sure that when your customers ask an AI assistant to recommend someone who does what you do, your name is in the answer.
Why does Wardith exist?
Because a real shift is happening quietly. A meaningful share of people now ask ChatGPT, Google, Copilot or Perplexity for recommendations they would previously have researched themselves — and the businesses being recommended mostly have no idea why, while the businesses being left out have no idea it's happening.
Most of what determines who gets recommended is unglamorous and fixable: whether the AI systems can read your website, whether the facts about your business agree with each other across the web, and whether anything you've published actually answers the questions customers ask. Almost no small firm has had this looked at. Wardith exists to do exactly that, at prices a small firm can justify.
How do we work?
Plainly
We write reports in ordinary English, we price in round numbers, and we tell you when you don't need us. Our audit exists partly so we can say "you're fine" and mean it.
Honestly about uncertainty
Nobody controls what an AI assistant says. We work on the inputs these systems demonstrably rely on and we measure the results, but we don't guarantee outcomes, and we don't show numbers that can't be checked.
In the open
This website is built with the same methods we sell. Everything on it is readable by the AI crawlers, the facts are stated in machine-readable form, and the FAQ answers real questions. If the approach works, you'll be able to see it working on us.
Who's behind it?
Wardith is run by Kieran Smith, from the Wirral, UK. One person does the work — when you email Wardith, you're emailing him, and the report you get back is one he wrote.
Kieran spent eight years in operations at Maersk, making sure containers were sent and arrived as planned. That work is mostly about keeping information accurate and consistent across systems that don't naturally agree, which is a large part of what this work is too. He came across this problem by chance while building a few websites, and found it interesting enough to build a business around. The full work history is on LinkedIn.
Wardith is available to clients across the United Kingdom, and the work is done remotely — there's nothing about it that needs us in the same room.
